Co-Owner / General Manager / Stylist
Jody Bertoncello Young is a 42-year veteran stylist, part-owner and general manager of Prima Capelli Salon. Jody has attended many hair shows and in-salon classes from top educators in the industry. She is passionate about hair and is dedicated to raising the bar in the hair industry for the Butler community and surrounding areas. Jody is no longer booking new clients but is focusing her attention to growing Prima Capelli Salon and its highly trained team of stylists.
Jamie
Assistant Manager / Stylist
An assistant manager at Prima Capelli Salon, Jamie Bromley has been exercising her talents in the hair industry for 21 years. She excels in innovative coloring, highlighting, and balayage techniques and enjoys creating fashion-forward, trendy looks for her clients. Jamie focuses on expanding her talents and continuing education by attending hair shows and in-salon classes regularly. Jamie strives to deliver the newest creative cutting and coloring methods to her clients. Additionally, Jamie offers perms and formal styles to satisfy her client’s needs. She has also obtained the Satin Smooth Certification for facial and full-body waxing and is a certified Brazilian Blowout technician and certified in I-tip and Tape-in hair extensions.

Amy
Assistant Manager / Stylist / Makeup Artist / Bridal Coordinator / Off-Site Wedding Stylist
Amy Garvey is a gifted stylist and shift manager at Prima Capelli Salon. For 17 years she has been providing unique color and cutting techniques for her clients. Amy has attended many hair shows and in-salon classes in order to stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends. She specializes in hair-coloring services and enjoys the creative aspect of her job. Her list of services includes haircuts, perms, color, highlights, formal styles, facial waxing, and make-up application. She is a certified Brazilian Blowout technician as well.
In her free time she likes to spend time with family.
Heather
Stylist
Heather Powers, a highly-trained hair stylist, has been working in the industry for 24 years. She enjoys helping her clients express their individuality through custom coloring and highlighting techniques. As a friendly, outgoing stylist, Heather will surely help you achieve a look that you love! Heather offers a variety of services including haircuts, perms, color, highlights, formal styles, facial/body waxing, and hair extension installation. She is a certified Brazilian Blowout technician as well.
Cassie
Assistant Manager / Stylist / Advanced Makeup Artist
A graduate of Bella Capelli Academy, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, Cassie has obtained her teacher's license and enjoys utilizing her many honed skills in the workplace. She continues to attend industry-related classes to stay up-to-date on her skills. For 14 years, she has been working in the industry and excels in custom coloring and highlighting. She enjoys creating a versatile color palette that adds dimension and definition for a completely fresh and fun look. She also specializes in make-up artistry and loves providing clients with a new look for the day. Cassie's list of services includes haircuts, perms, color, highlights, facial waxing, and lash and brow tinting. She is a certified Brazilian Blowout technician, a licensed cosmotology educator and is certified in advanced make-up artistry.
In her free time, Cassie likes to travel and spend time with family.
Leeanne
Stylist / Makeup Artist
For 12 years Leeanne has been exercising her talents in the hair industry. She specializes in coloring techniques and excels in her corrective color abilities. She enjoys the creative freedom that plays a huge part in her career as a hair stylist. The list of services Leeanne provides includes haircuts, perms, color, highlights, formal styles, facial waxing, make-up application, manicures and pedicures. Leeanne is also a certified Brazilian Blowout technician, as well as a certified Babe Hair Extension specialist.
Barb
Stylist
A 40-year veteran hair stylist and former salon owner, Barb graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She specializes in creative cutting and coloring techniques. Barb continues to further her education by attending numerous hairshows and classes including New York City International Hair Show, Premiere Orlando Beauty Trade Show Event, Mid Atlantic Fashion Focus Washington DC and Baltimore and many more. Her list of services includes short and long haircuts, color, highlights, lowlights and glaze. She is a Brazilian Blowout specialist and certified in K18, Olaplex, and numerous color and cutting techniques.
In her free time she likes to vacation, go paddleboarding, boating, and golfing; play pickle ball, exercise, do yoga, and watch sports.
Alexandra
Assistant Manager / Stylist / Extension Specialist / Off-site Wedding Stylist
Alex is an extremely talented stylist who has been in the industry for over 13 years. From men’s cutting to the latest coloring techniques for women, Alex strives to give her clients the best possible service. Her positive demeanor and passion for education make her a great asset to our team. She has been to numerous classes and hair shows that include men’s barbering, balayage and coloring, and basic haircut foundation classes to name a few. Alex’s main goal is to stay up to date with all trends and give each of her guests an exceptional service. She specializes in extensions, men’s cuts, blonding, and curly hair. Alex is a certified Bellami Extension Master and is certified in Brazilian Blowouts, Eufora Foundations 1& 2 and Deva Curl. She also offers facial and body waxing, manicures and pedicures, and spray tanning.
In her free time, Alex likes to spend time with family, read with her kids, and hang out with friends.
Mia
Stylist / Makeup Artist / Off-site Wedding Stylist
Mia is an outgoing stylist who is passionate about making sure every one of her clients is happy and loves their look. As a graduate of Bella Capelli Academy, Mia has attended numerous hair and nail classes that have enhanced and refined her many skills. Mia provides her clients with high-end styles while keeping up with what is trendy. She excels in blonding and color melts, which are two of her favorite services to perform. Other services she performs include makeup, formal styles, perms, cuts, and manicures.
Kara
Stylist / Makeup Artist / Off-site Wedding Stylist
Kara has been a stylsit for 15 years and is an essential part of our Off-Site Wedding team. She is passionate about adding to the magic of your special day. Her enthusiasm for bridal styles is displayed in her intricate formal styles and sophisticated bridal makeup looks.
In her free time, Kara loves spending time with her friends and family.
Claudia
Stylist / Nail Technician
Claudia is a creative stylist who loves to use her artistic abilities to make her clients look and feel great! Claudia is not only a graduate from Butler Beauty Academy but, has completed a course as a cosmotology educator. Some of her favorite services to perform are vibrant colors, balayage, blonding, color melts, and nails! When it comes to nails, Claudia is a detail-oriented artist with her free hand nail art where she depicts realism and simplistic designs, all by hand! Claudia wants her client’s hair and nails to showcase her passion, creativity and skills.

Carys
Stylist / Makeup Artist / Brow Artist / Off-site Wedding Stylist
While Carys is a daymaker, seeing clients smile and feel beautiful makes her day. Carys specializes in blonding, lived in color and hair extensions (certified in Bellami extensions). To meet her client’s hair goals, Carys is willing to challenge herself and run the extra mile.

A Butler Beauty Academy graduate, Karleigh specializes in blonding and lived in hair. She is Brazilian Blowout certified and offers a wide array of services from nails, pedicures, perms, formal styles and haircuts!

Amber is a licensed esthetician who loves to express her creativity and passion for making others feel beautiful in every service she performs. Her love for skincare and people makes her the perfect asset to our team. She is detail-oriented and very much a perfectionist in her work.

Meet Alex, a seasoned esthetician with over a decade of experience in the beauty industry. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, Alex dedicates herself to making her clients look and feel their best. She thrives on building strong relationships with her clients, understanding their unique preferences and needs.
Specializing in brow services and spray tanning, Alex is certified by Borboleta, Ellabanna, Lash Stuff, Sjolie Tan, and Smart Tan.
Outside of work, Alex cherishes time spent exploring with her kids. Whether they're hiking through nature trails, baking treats, or nurturing their garden, they share a love for adventure and creativity.
Jessica
Massage Therapist
Jessica is a seasoned Licensed Massage Therapist who has been working in the field for about 8 years. Jessica completed her education at Integrative Bodywork School of Massage Therapy in State College, PA, where she massaged the Penn State Football Team while still in school. While her massage career has allowed her to work on Olympic and Professional level athletes, she also enjoys and is certified to work on anyone from newborns to those considered geriatric. Jessica always works hard to ensure her clients leave her sessions feeling better than when they arrived. Her specialty is Deep Tissue Neuromuscular work but she is capable of producing a wide array of pressures and techniques.
In her free time Jessica enjoys listening to audiobooks and playing with her pet rats.

Elayna’s happy and fun personality brings comfort to every guest that enters the salon. Her organization and time management skills allow the front desk to run as smoothly as possible. She loves making every client feel their best before leaving with compliments on the services they had done.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, reading, and going thrifting.
Jennifer
Front Desk Associate
Jennifer has a kind and welcoming personality to anyone walking into the salon. She assists with coordinating on and off-site details for the wedding teams. Jennifer is currently enrolled at Butler Beauty Academy to become an esthetician! She’s always had an interest in skincare and lash extensions, and wants to make people feed good about themselves.
In her free time she likes to travel with her boyfriend, hang out with her cats and try new coffee places with her friends.
Jocie
Front Desk Associate
Jocie’s warm smile greets every client as they enter the salon. She is currently a junior in high school, but also the friendly face behind the salon's front desk. When she's not busy scheduling clients and ensuring everything runs smoothly, you'll find her sprinting on the school track field.
Off the track, Jocie indulges in her love for reading and shopping. She also loves spending time playing with her dogs. With her energetic spirit and bright personality, Jocie adds a touch of warmth and charm to the salon.
Caitlyn
Front Desk Associate
Meet Caitlyn, our welcoming front desk associate currently attending Slippery Rock University. Caitlyn is embarking on a journey to pursue her passion for cosmetology. With a keen eye for style and a heart dedicated to making people happy, she's on the path to obtaining her stylist license.
Caitlyn's joy lights up the salon, and her knack for making people laugh ensures every visit is great. Outside of work, she cherishes moments with her family, listening to music and experimenting with new makeup looks.

Marketing Manager / Front Desk Associate
Amanda manages the salon’s social media, designs, and creates content along with other marketing and front desk tasks.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughters, Waverly & Harper.
Jes
Retail Manager / Shift Manager
Jes is a professional, hardworking member of our staff for the past 9 years. She is enthusiastic about her job and great at multi-tasking. Jes works behind the scenes to keep the salon running smoothly. She ensures that our shelves are fully stocked with the best and newest products available for our clients. Her goal at work is to put a smile on each and every customer's face, and with her friendly demeanor, it isn't a hard thing for her to do!
When she's not working, her main focus is spending quality time with her daughters, Giavanna and Lexus, and dogs, Louie and Snoop.

Jodie’s light-hearted & humorous personality brings great spirit to the salon. She works hard to keep the salon running smoothly and is a great team player when it comes to assisting others.
